DESCRIPTION:  SOLD OUTMorehouse Homecoming is the most anticipated event of the year, and this year it’s scheduled for the weekend of October 25-27, 2024. As a dedicated Homecoming Tailgate Host, you know all too well about the excitement, revelry, and nostalgia that the very thought of Morehouse Homecoming provokes. This year's homecoming tailgate theme is ’APEX: An Ascension Event' and we hope that it truly is your best homecoming tailgate experience ever. The 2024 tailgate includes sales of RVs, Tents, Grill Spaces, and Activation Spaces. RVs: 50 feet of space for your RV unit is available for purchaseTents: 30x30, 20x40, 20x30, 20x20, 10x20 and 10x10 tent sizes are available for purchaseGrill Space: 10 feet of space for an oversized grill onlyActivation Space: Negotiated tailgate spaces in designated areas that exceed standard tent sizesClick the 'Register' link above to reserve your tailgate space for 2024. A portion of every tent and RV purchase will be a donation to Morehouse College.To purchase more than one tent, click the "+" sign and select an additional tailgate space from the dropdown menu.If your tent or RV is a corporate-sponsored space, please identify the name of the corporate entity that will be sponsoring your tailgate space. We cannot guarantee exclusive rights or space, but we will work to accommodate requests. The system will close once we reach capacity. The Office of External Relations and Alumni Engagement requests that you not share the purchase link with others. ONE-DAY EVENT INSURANCE COVERAGE (REQUIRED): Our senior leadership and management team requires all tailgate hosts to provide one-day general liability insurance to protect you, as the tailgate host, and Morehouse College, as the event organizer. We encourage you to consult your home insurance provider or visit www.theeventhelper.com#dcv2Xa to secure your insurance rider separately.  Morehouse College must be named as co-insured on your rider.As in years past, the College will secure all city and state permits required for our one-day Homecoming festival. This Alumni Engagement event will hopefully promote fellowship and giving back to our institutions.NOTE: GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE RETRIEVING TAILGATE or VENDOR CREDENTIALS.  Each year, all registered and approved Alumni Tailgate hosts must also attend a pre-event webinar to review our public safety and tailgating guidelines in early October. Should you have any questions, please email Joe Carlos '04, the Director of Alumni Engagement at joseph.carlos@morehouse.edu.Please remember your order is not complete until you have received a confirmation email from our system and until you complete your Tailgate Host profile survey.
