Thank you for your loyal support of the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate Experience.

AT THIS TIME, ALL TAILGATE TENTS ARE SOLD OUT. The Office of Alumni Engagement is exploring the possibility of using other space to accomodate additional tailgate tent requests. We will be sure to inform you if any additional tent purchase opportunities become available.&nbsp;

For nearly 25 years, the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate Experience has been&nbsp;one of the best ways to engage&nbsp;with fellow alumni of Morehouse and Spelman Colleges, show&nbsp;your support for our respective missions, reconnect with old friends, and re-establish bonds within the Morehouse-Spelman family. 

It remains one of the highlights of the Homecoming Experience for our beloved institutions.&nbsp;

We have altered&nbsp;our layout to accommodate&nbsp;your valued feedback regarding safety and enjoyment at&nbsp;this Morehouse-Spelman Family Affair.&nbsp;

For your convenience, we want to give you an opportunity to register early to reserve your tent/space this year. Click this&nbsp;link&nbsp;to reserve your tailgate space and guest passes for 2018. We will do our best to accommodate all placement requests, but cannot guarantee a specific location. The system will close once we reach capacity.&nbsp;

As we did last year, you will be required to obtain a &quot;one-day&quot; insurance rider to cover the risk associated with your tent rental.&nbsp; Tent prices have increased slightly to ensure that we have proper security, clean-up, tables, fire extinguishers, and restroom facilities for a responsible and enjoyable experience for all guests.&nbsp;

ONE-DAY EVENT INSURANCE COVERAGE (REQUIRED):&nbsp;

Our senior leadership and management&nbsp;team requires all&nbsp;tailgate hosts to provide one-day general liability insurance to protect you, as the tailgate host, and Morehouse College,&nbsp;as the event&nbsp;organizer.&nbsp;We encourage you to consult your home insurance provider or visit&nbsp;www.theeventhelper.com#dcv2Xa&nbsp;to secure your insurance rider separately. &nbsp;Morehouse College must be named as co-insured on your rider.

As in years past, the College will secure all city&nbsp;and state permits required for our one-day Homecoming festival. This is an Alumni Engagement event that will hopefully promote fellowship and giving back to our institutions.

Each tent host is encouraged to participate in the ALUMNI &nbsp;TAILGATE &quot;TEXT2GIVE&quot; CHALLENGE to raise money for the General Scholarship Fund. We are, indeed, &quot;Tailgating with a Purpose.&quot;

NOTE: GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE RETRIEVING TAILGATE or VENDOR CREDENTIALS. &nbsp;

Each&nbsp;year, all registered and approved Alumni Tailgate hosts must also attend a pre-event webinar&nbsp;to review our public safety and tailgating guidelines.&nbsp;

P.S. A limited number of DJs are permitted for the tailgate&nbsp;area, but each must adhere to the sound standards and guidelines provided in our Tailgate Guidelines&nbsp;for music played between the hours of Noon - 6pm. All music must end at 7 PM. All Tailgate activity must end no later than 8 PM.
