Click here -->right here<-- (link is hidden) or go to Freshtix.com, click "Buy Tickets" & search for Morehouse.The Morehouse-Spelman Homecoming Committee is pleased to welcome you to Homecoming 2022 as we return to Atlanta for all of the fun and excitement that you have come to know and appreciate over the years. Open to all members of the Morehouse and Spelman community, there will be an array of events for students, alumni, faculty, friends, and families.With the anticipated number of guests coming to the campus, we have increased our safety and security procedures to best protect our community. For Tailgate, there will be a nominal charge of $30 for adults and $15 children and students above the age of 12 for all day access to the Alumni Tailgate Experience. We want to ensure that this year's events are as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone as fellowship because "There's No Place Like Homecoming."Morehouse and Spelman alumni from all over the world are invited to return to campus for all of the homecoming festivities including class reunions, the Homecoming step show, panel discussions, music sound stages, tailgating, receptions and of course, our homecoming football game where our Fighting Maroon Tigers will take on Tigers of Benedict College. Regardless of the last time you attended HOMECOMING, this will be the time to make your grand return because we are always STRONGER TOGETHER when you are at home!As a complement to the Homecoming game, Tailgating remains one of the highlights of Homecoming Weekend for our great institutions. We will do our very best to accommodate prior placement requests that register and pay before the deadline but cannot guarantee specific locations.  Per our policy, all tailgate hosts will be required to obtain "one-day" insurance rider coverage to limit the risk associated with your tent/space rental.  Tent prices have increased slightly to ensure that we have proper security, clean-up, tables and other facilities for a responsible and enjoyable experience for all guests. ONE-DAY EVENT INSURANCE COVERAGE (REQUIRED): Our senior leadership and management team requires all tailgate hosts to provide one-day general liability insurance to protect you, as the tailgate host, and Morehouse College, as the event organizer. We encourage you to consult your home insurance provider or visit www.theeventhelper.com#dcv2Xa to secure your insurance rider separately.  Morehouse College must be named as co-insured on your rider.As in years past, the College will secure all city and state permits required for our one-day Homecoming festival. This is an Alumni Engagement event that will hopefully promote fellowship and giving back to our institutions.NOTE: GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE RETRIEVING TAILGATE or VENDOR CREDENTIALS.  Each year, all registered and approved Alumni Tailgate hosts must also attend a pre-event webinar to review our public safety and tailgating guidelines on Friday, October 7. We look forward to seeing you on October 22, 2022!Sincerely,                Henry M. A limited number of DJs are permitted for the tailgate area, but each must adhere to the sound standards and guidelines provided in our Tailgate Guidelines for music played between the hours of Noon - 6pm. All music must end at 7 PM. All Tailgate activity must end no later than 8 PM.Once you have done so, you will receive confirmation from the Office of External Relations and Alumni Engagement no earlier than October 7, 2022, approx. 2 weeks before Homecoming.
