For the past 5 years The SpelHouse Prelude has served as the Thursday kickoff for Alumni attending SpelHouse homecoming. The SpelHouse Prelude is strategically positioned in the SpelHouse homecoming party lineup, by creating a unique experience for attendees. Guests are treated to a premium open bar experience accompanied with passed hors d’oeuvres. A live band and some of the nation’s top DJs provide entertainment for the night. Outside of the complimentary drinks, food and some of the best music Atlanta nightlife has to offer, guests also have the satisfaction of knowing that proceeds are supporting the aspirations and initiatives of their SpelHouse brothers and sisters. Each year we donate proceeds to non-profit organizations and businesses that were founded by graduates of Spelman or Morehouse College. Additionally, we donate to both the 5 and 10 year classes from both institutions to support their reunion fundraising initiatives.
