Morehouse Homecoming is the most anticipated event of the year, and this year it’s scheduled for the weekend of October 27-29, 2023.
As a Morehouse alum, you know all too well about the excitement, revelry and nostalgia that the very thought of Morehouse Homecoming provokes.
This year's homecoming tailgate theme is ’Ascension' and we hope that it truly is your best homecoming tailgate experience ever.
This year, tailgate spaces became available for purchase on July 21, 2023 and the overwhelming response has been amazing to watch.
ONE-DAY EVENT INSURANCE COVERAGE (REQUIRED):
Our senior leadership and management team requires all tailgate hosts to provide one-day general liability insurance to protect you, as the tailgate host, and Morehouse College, as the event organizer. We encourage you to consult your home insurance provider or visit www.theeventhelper.com#dcv2Xa to secure your insurance rider separately. Morehouse College must be named as co-insured on your rider.
As in years past, the College will secure all city and state permits required for our one-day Homecoming festival. This is an Alumni Engagement event that will hopefully promote fellowship and giving back to our institutions.
NOTE: GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE RETRIEVING TAILGATE or VENDOR CREDENTIALS.
Each year, all registered and approved Alumni Tailgate hosts must also attend a pre-event webinar to review our public safety and tailgating guidelines in early October.

RV Placements are EXCLUSIVELY for 35' or 41' Recreational Vehicles. Arrival MUST be completed on Thursday or Friday evening (you will be given a specific time slot during orientation). Your RV space comes with 10x10 uncovered space and two tables. RV Hosts will receive 50 tailgate passes with purchase. The RV spaces are exclusively for Tailgate Hosts and their guests and NOT for vendor purchase.

The 20x20 Greek tent spaces are exclusively set aside for the individual chapters of fraternities at Morehouse College.
